Unblocking Net10 SIM Card?
Q: I have a Motorola v171 phone with Net10 and recently I was playing around with collateral codes when my phone suddenly said "SIM Blocked" on the screen. Now I don't have any access to my phone work or text messages and I can only call 911. Is there anyway for me to fix it?
And also is doesn't give me an option to enter any codes to fix it.
A: Ok if you saw put down PUK and kept entering codes the only way to fix this is to go to the store and purchase a new sim card.

Can I use net10 sim card in unlocked phone?
Hello! I have a net10 phone (Motorola v171) and found an unlocked phone on ebay that I would like to acquire. Will the sim card from my motorola work in this new phone (it is a razr)? I'm confused about the networks; GSM, etc.

Im dismal, I just did some reasearch. A tracfone and a Net10 phone will only work with their phones. Their phones use a special software that helps show the amount of minutes that you have. If you google it, you should find alot of information.

I have a motorola v171. I bought a new faceplate but I do not know how to change it. can anyone tell me how?
I bought the tools with the faceplate but no instructions came with it and I can't cut it out. Does anyone know how to change the faceplate on a Motorola V171. Can you send me instructions?
The usual faceplate just slides off the front, and all you need to do is snap the new one in place. Be extra cautious; however, it voids your assurance.

Net10 Question: Can you move minutes and phone number from an old Net10 Phone to a New Net10 Phone?
I was evaluation of getting a new Net10 phone. I have an old Motorola V171. I was wondering if I could transfer all the minutes I have on that phone to a new one. The phone number as well or will I run out of those minutes?
